Which Microinfusion Devices Actually Work?

With hundreds of options out there, finding the right microinfusion device for your skin type can feel overwhelming—and trialling each one can drain your skincare budget, fast!

So what brand should you choose from? Glamory? Lux Skin? Glov? Seranova? We’re spoiled with choices!

I’ve been a clinical dermatologist for years now and I've spent countless hours helping my patients treat a variety of cosmetic skin conditions including:

  • Stubborn fine lines & wrinkles

  • Uneven complexions

  • Visible sun spots

  • Dry, sensitive, or oily skin

And if you ask me, at-home microinfusion is one of the most important steps you can take to fight visible signs of aging, as well as preventing new wrinkles from forming…

…Time and time again it’s been clinically proven to get active ingredients through to the dermis layer of skin for visible Botox-like results at home!

That’s why I constantly recommend that my patients incorporate an anti-aging microinfusion device (ideally with a Hyaluronic Acid serum) into their skincare routine to treat age-related skin problems.

See some examples of how effective microinfusion can be here:

Microinfusion involves creating tiny channels in the skin, and then injecting small amounts of powerful skincare ingredients into the surface layers.

When performed at a clinic, these treatments can cost hundreds (and sometimes 1000s) of dollars!

So the main benefits of at-home Microinfusion devices are price and convenience.

Fortunately, being a board-certified dermatologist and self-obsessed skincare addict - I’ve tested dozens of Microinfusion systems, so you don’t have to waste money and time to look and feel your best.

Recently, I’ve been updating my list of 5 of the top Microinfusion brands with some new favorites that I want to share with you! So here are 5 of my favorite brands as of April 2025…

The best at-home Microinfusion treatment overall:

#1 Qure Micro-Infusion System

Without a doubt, Qure is my number one pick for at-home Microinfusion, for a few reasons.

I first discovered this brand after one of my patients (she's in her 50s) stopped coming to my clinic for Botox.

She told me she'd found something better...

At the time, I thought "Yeah, right! She'll be back in my clinic soon enough."

What a fool I was...

I've been using Qure for 3 months now and the results have been sensational! My skin feels so much more hydrated and supple, and I'm not the only one noticing...

So many of my patients, and dermatology colleagues, have been coming into my office and asking me what I've been doing differently to get such plump & glowy skin...

"Your skin looks so clear and healthy, doc! What's the secret?"

Imagine how surprised they are when I tell them all I've done is add Qure to my bi-weekly skincare routine!

Fast forward to today, and now I can't stop recommending Qure to patients, friends, family... and anyone else that wants younger looking skin! The results have been that good.

Then there's the brand reputation. Qure is an industry leader for a reason, with thousands of verified reviews online.

And of course, it’s always a good sign when I see other skin doctors and dermatologists stand proudly behind a product.

"I like that they put a lot of research & development into their products - Ultimately, I think that they care a lot about the products they are putting out"

Dr Shah, MD - Board-Certified Dermatologist

"I love that Qure Skincare products go beyond just topical treatments, helping to maintain the results of in-office procedures."

Dr Prem Tripathi, MD Double Board-Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon

"What really sets Qure apart is the level of innovation and thoughtfulness they put into each product. Their commitment to quality and attention to detail really shines through in everything they create"

Dr Alexis Stephens, MD - Board-Certified Dermatologist

The most important thing to me, especially considering this is an at-home treatment, is safety and effectiveness. Qure uses tiny, almost painless, 24K gold plated 0.5mm microneedles. The needle heads are one time per use, meaning that after you use it you throw it away.

Personally, after using the Qure Micro-Infusion System and combining the two serums they offer (one for wrinkles and one for rejuvenation), I saw visible results within the first 24 hours, and the results only get better with use!

A few months in, I’ve noticed a brighter and more even-looking skin tone, reduced appearance of dark spots, my acne scars look less visible, and my fine lines & wrinkles feel smoother. And the same goes for patients and friends I know firsthand who are using Qure.

And finally, Qure’s price point is the perfect example of value for money. A one month’s supply is only $119, and you can save up to 70% when you purchase a 6-month supply, which means each treatment costs less than $20.

The best entry-level Microinfusion treatment:

#2 Glamory™ Micro-Infusion Hydra Needle

At my #2 spot, I've placed Glamory™.

Here's another brand that delivers exceptional quality for the price! Similarly to Qure, the Glamory Micro-Infusion Hydra Needle is made with 24K gold plated needles and claims to boost serum absorption by 300%.

I've heard great feedback from patients on this brand and expect the company will become a household name as the years go by.

Why then, is it in my number 2 spot?

Well, I’ll be honest, as an industry specialist, it's simply because this brand has limited visible results available online and a lack of real dermatologist backing. That's it!

That being said, at the pricepoint, it’s still a great investment for your routine, especially if you’re still a bit nervous about trying at-home Microfusion for the first time and want a budget-friendly option to see if it’s for you.

My advice? Test it out, and once you’re more comfortable with the process, level up to another brand.

The runner-up:

#3 Seranova - The Microneedling Infusion System™

On paper, The Microneedling Infusion System by Seranova checks all my boxes, it’s dermatologist-backed, with good customer reviews and medical-grade single use needles.

They only offer one serum, however, which targets the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles only. I’d like to see them introduce different serum options in the future for a more holistic treatment.

And while their treatment delivered impressive results, it didn’t quite match the level of my top pick. That being said, I still think this is a great at-home Microinfusion treatment, and some patients have seen some great results with it, so I’d consider it a close runner-up to Qure.

Lots of bang for your buck:

#4 LUX SKIN® Micro Infusion Kit

This is another budget-friendly at-home Microinfusion treatment, and while I had my doubts when I saw that a 6-week treatment costs less than my weekly grocery bill, I was pleasantly surprised.

The results were okay, after 6 weeks, my skin did look smoother and somewhat more radiant. It wasn’t anything game-changing, but again, at this price, I feel it delivered really good value for money.

I will say however that the needles did feel a little harsher, and I did experience some pain when administering the treatment on myself. If you have sensitive skin or are looking for more dramatic results, I would avoid this one.

Another notable mention:

#5 Glov Micro Infusion System

This is another popular brand I saw floating around socials, so I of course had to try it for myself!

Right off the bat, I was disappointed to see a lot of negative reviews on an independent review platform, but I didn’t let it stop me from giving it an honest, unbiased shot.

I will say, one of my biggest letdowns with Glov’s Micro Infusion System is that additional needle heads aren’t provided, and are expected to be purchased on the website separately. I worry that this would encourage people to reuse needles, which you definitely shouldn’t do!

Another thing I noticed was that not a lot of serum managed to flow through the needles, which raised some concerns that it wouldn’t be as effective as promised… but that being said, my skin did feel “bouncier” and softer after 6 weeks of treatment. This one was a bit iffy, but could be a good option for some.
